Terms of Service
What you're agreeing to when you enroll. Written to be read.
Last updated October 26, 2026
1. Who you're buying from
The Troveman Heirloom Approach is sold by Philip Winham (sole proprietor), doing business as Troveman, based in Texas. Reaching us: hello@troveman.com. In these terms "we" and "us" mean Troveman, and "you" means the person who enrolls.
2. What you're buying
A one-time purchase of an online, self-paced course: The Troveman Heirloom Approach. It includes all lessons and downloadable materials described on the pricing page at the time you buy. Access is for your lifetime, meaning for as long as we operate the course, and includes any lessons we add later at no extra cost.
We may improve, reorder or replace lessons. We won't remove substantial content you paid for. If we ever shut the course down entirely, we'll give you at least 90 days' notice and a window to download the materials.
3. Your account
Your enrollment is for one person. Don't share your login. The account is tied to the email you bought with, and we can suspend access to an account being used by multiple people. If you need to change the email on your account, write to us.
4. Payment
Prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe, and by buying you also accept Stripe's terms. We don't see or store your card number. Your card statement will show TROVEMAN. Any sales tax that applies is calculated at checkout.
The optional Heirloom Business Review add-on, if you buy one, is a separate purchase made from inside your dashboard with its own terms shown at the time.
5. Refunds
14-day money-back guarantee. Full refund if you’ve completed less than 25% of the course and haven’t gone through the edit. The full policy, including how that percentage is measured, is on the refunds page and forms part of these terms.
6. What you may and may not do with the material
You get a personal, non-transferable license to use the lessons, downloads and presets to learn the workflow and to apply it in your own photography business. That includes using everything you learn commercially. That is the point of the course, and nothing here restricts the photographs you go on to make or what you charge for them.
What the license does not cover:
- Sharing, reselling, or redistributing the videos, downloads or presets.
- Posting the lessons anywhere, publicly or privately, including in paid communities.
- Teaching the course, or a repackaged version of it, as your own material.
- Using the Troveman name, logo or lesson content in your own marketing in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with your business.
The license runs with your purchase. If you take a refund it ends, and with it the right to keep using the downloads, templates and presets, including copies already saved to your computer. We are not going to chase anyone over a worksheet; this is here so that the refund can stay as simple and generous as it is, rather than being hedged with conditions about what you downloaded first.
7. What we don't promise
We teach an approach that works for us. We can't promise it will make you money, get you clients, or work in your market, and nothing on this site is a guarantee of income. What you earn depends on your work, your pricing, your market and a lot of things outside a course.
The course is provided as-is. We aim to keep it available and working, but we can't promise uninterrupted access, and third-party outages are outside our control.
8. Third-party tools
The course teaches workflows that use software and gear we don't make, including Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, gallery platforms and print labs. We aren't responsible for their pricing, availability, or changes to how they work. Recommendations are our honest opinion, not paid placements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of the course is limited to what you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, and if you're a consumer, this section doesn't take away rights your local consumer law gives you.
10. Ending access
We can suspend or end your access if you share your login, redistribute the material, or charge back a payment you weren't entitled to reverse. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we'll email you before it takes effect. Changes don't apply retroactively to a purchase you've already made.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts of Brazos County, Texas. If you're a consumer outside the United States, this doesn't override mandatory protections where you live.
13. Getting in touch first
Most problems are a misunderstanding and take one email. Please write to hello@troveman.com before anything more formal. We answer.
